Ohio Accompaniment punter Drue Chrisman has fabricated account for his extracurricular activities, from his water-bottle flipping abilities to atom his arch to account his grandmother. On Thursday afternoon, the green accustomed some acceptance for what he does on the gridiron.
Chrisman was called one of 10 semifinalists for the Ray Guy Award, which is presented annually to the nation’s best punter. The acreage of semifinalists was narrowed bottomward from 78 nominees.
The green has 29 punts this season, averaging 43.1 yards. His longest punt arrested in at 62 yards and came in the Buckeyes’ season-opening 49-21 win over Indiana on Aug. 31.
